To get good at talking with people you need to understand the different personalities. It’s really quite simple in understanding the four major personalities and knowing how to relate to these personalities will open the door to establishing the right rapport and help you to recruit more into your MLM
First there is the Yellow personality. Yellow’s are the givers of the world, they don’t like hype and they definitely don’t like being sold anything. Don’t tell them about how much money they can make but instead explain to them how many people they can help by doing this business. To relate to the yellow personality type you need to talk about their family, their business, their lives. When you show them how your business will help the people in their lives and the good of all people you will get them to respond postively to your opportunity. Also show them how they can help others grow to success and live their dreams. Yellow personalities are concerned with others and how they can help them
Then there is the personality types who just wants to have fun. Your Blue’s are your fun personality type. It contribute to fifteen present of the population. They are typically in some type of sales business already and you will find some of them who have experience in network marketing and you will be surprised at now many program they have been involved into. They get the big picture of things right away and don’t need all the facts to make a decision. Show the blues where the fun is and they will follow you. Relate the business in every way possible to having fun. When you show them that building a business with you is going to lead to them having more time to have more fun you will have them hooked. They will sell themselves on the business because it will be fun
The Green personality types account for thirty-five percent of the population. You will find the Greens to be very analytical. They will be very analytical when researching your network marketing opportunity so be ready. They really get into the comp plans in detail and also everything about your business. Just be patient with them it’s just the way they operate. Remember that they account for thirty-five percent so give them the information and more if they need it and let them do their research. If you want to sponsor a green send them to your website, send them to all the webinars and conference calls. Don’t be pushy with them. Try to answer all there questions and don’t talk to fast Give them time to analyze this information, don’t try to get a quick response from them and let them get back to you.
The next and last personality type are your Reds. They are only interested in money. That’s it! They are the smallest percentage of the population and only account for 15% of the population. When talking with the red type don’t chit chat about the family, or the fun things in life – talk about money and what is the potential. Period!. Reds want to sell, sell, sell and they want to recruit the same type, the big producers. They are, get the job done people. Your Reds are definitely not coachable. They typically will have a lot of attrition in their group because they are so demanding. You will find the benefits of Reds being that they are very well connected, so they will know very influential people who you would want to get introduced to your business
You will see the power of this as you start using the understanding of these personality types and give your prospect what they need. You can give them what they need to make a decision. You will be able to do this just by listening to people. Let them talk, they will tell you what they need. Just be asking the right questions to be in control of the conversation.
We are all a blend of these colors so keep that in mind. Yes we have a primary color but we typically have a dominate color which accounts for how we look at things. You need to be a camelain when it comes to dealing with the different types of personality and develop rapport by relating to them in the way that they communicate and the way they see the world. This will enable you the quickly build a bond and in turn do much more MLM recruiting
