You will influence people to go along with you if you are likable and make them feel that they can trust you.  The outcome of your home networking business relies on people who trust you and have similar interests and goals. 

One of the biggest errors that people make is trying to imitate or act like somebody else and not themselves.  They push too hard with the goal of selling instead of setting the goal to make as many connections as possible.  You are already creating your network, by touching as many people as you can in a positive way.  Over time, and with patience, those people will join in your cause, even if you may not get a lot of response at the beginning.  Construct a solid foundation, a good reputation, and your network will increase drastically. 

The first thing to remember is to make people feel comfortable with you and not feel pressured.  Speak with confidence, but not arrogance.  Don’t be overly bossy.  Ask your audience for conversation.  Always be sincere with your words.  When you really believe what you are talking about, other people also will.

The interactive section may have both a Q&A area, but also a discussion board.  Get people excited about what they are talking about, debate and induce conversation.   They can come up with solutions while getting involved and feeling like a part of the business.  This sparks more interest and a greater opportunity of conversion.   Pay attention and comprehend what is being said and let the audience lead the conversation. 

Make certain you smile and crack some jokes to make people happy.  Laughter makes people more comfortable and relaxed and more willing to listen.  Make sure to maintain warm, inviting body language at all times.  The message will come across as authentic if your body is relaxed and your eyes show trust.

Personal appearances to promote your business work well if you can get a great response from your audience.  If you have this chance, take full benefit from it.   Simply by providing the information people need, people will recognize your well thought out website.  If they like you, they will want to work with you.  It is you that they will believe in and therefore, they will believe in the business and their own potential within it.  They will buy into YOU.
