Fighting emotional problems of the day

One unique thing about being human are the emotions we get to experience. Emotions are a very strong part that makes us human.Emotions that we experience like joy, love, anger or even pain. are very powerful emotions we experience.  But often times it is because we are so emotional we can get into trouble.

I would like to talk about two very powerful emotions that in a few situations, require professional attention.  They are anger and depression.Two emotions that seem very different from one another can both start some very major problems.  I have seen it first hand as a therapist San Diego.

I say it is a big problem, both of them, because either one can lead to violence.  In the case of anger it can lead to violence against others.In problems like depression, the violence can end up being directed toward one’s self.

When you are addressing a situation like anger, it can be a very sticky situation.  As mentioned earlier, it is an emotion you need to control.  Because as we well know a lot of people do bad things when they are angry.It does not necessarily need to be physical, it also can come in the form of emotions.  If that is the case you need to address it through anger management counseling.

Now in regards to depression, this is a dangerous problem as well.It is very dangerous because a lot of times you might not even be aware of it.What I mean is that depression is something someone might experience without you even knowing about it.When that occurs, bad things can happen that weren’t planned.  Things like suicide.  I have seen it happen to often doing depression counseling.

If you know you are going through some depression, make sure you treat it quickly.Because before you can even think about it, the situation could have gone too far.Loved ones of yours could even possibly miss it and not be aware of it.  When that happens it can be too late.So find help quickly.It can be treated. 

As you can tell, emotions are usually good.But problems can come about through them.By learning how to handle issues and problems, emotions can be of benefit.It doesn’t matter if you address it yourself or by another person, just make sure to take care of it.
